Not all epic views have to be from challenging hikes. There are multiple easy scenic hiking trails in Summit County Colorado. Breckenridge and Frisco are our favorite towns to stay at in Summit County. There are many shops, restaurants and things to do along the towns Main Streets. Therefore, we always try to stay as close to the action as possible.
Colorado has an abundance of fun mountain towns including Colorado Springs, Salida, and Aspen to name a few. If you are up for the challenge check out our article of more difficult hiking trails in Summit County.
You will arrive at a small parking lot adjacent to Lake Dillion. This hike is a short 1.7 miles with very little elevation gain. It is a gorgeous reservoir overlooking the massive Lake Dillion.

Windy point is a Easy Scenic Hiking Trails in Summit County
Windy point has an extra large parking lot. This trail brings you though mini pine trees between camp grounds overlooking Lake Dillion. With very minimal elevation gain this trail is just under 1.6 miles out and back.
Walk Downtown Frisco Bay
Frisco Bay and downtown Frisco has over a mile of sidewalks. This dog friendly town is excellent for grabbing a bite to eat on one of the many patios with your pup.

Easy Scenic Hiking Trails in Summit County: Tenderfoot to Orono Trail
This a a great loop trail. One of the harder ones we did at 3.4 miles long with an elevation gain of 557 feet. However, this trail takes you through the woods and has many awesome different views along the way.
Easy Scenic Hiking Trails in Summit County: Loveland Pass
Take the drive up to Loveland Pass and take the short hike up from the parking lot as long as there isnt too much snow. You will not be disappointed as long as your prepared for the wind.
Walk the City of Dillion on Farmers Market Fridays
The city of dillion has farmers markets every Friday in the summer time. First, grab a cup of coffee at the Steep booth. Secondly, find a place to sit for live music. Lastly, enjoy the view and people watch.
