Get a Wisconsin State Park pass to discover trails in Wildcat Mountain State Park, home of the ice cave.
This park is fantastic for many reasons. First of all, discover the magnificent ice cave. Secondly, there are an abundance of wild flowers during the summer time. Lastly, enjoy scenic views of the Kickapoo river.
Get the most out of your Wisconsin State Park pass and also check out the multi tiered waterfall at Willow River State Park.

Hemlock Trail
The trail is lined with lush greenery, cliffs, and wildflowers. There are some hills, but this easy hike can be done in any type of foot wear (though we prefer trail running shoes).

Scenic Views along Hemlock Trail
The Kickapoo river peeks through the brush as you hike the well maintained trails. When you arrive to the lookout the valley goes on for miles. Many people also appreciate the many signs along the path.

Wildcat Mountain State Park, home of the ice cave trail
Wildcat Mountain State Park is home of the ice cave. In our opinion, this short trek brings you to the best place in the park.
Imagine what it is with ice dripping throughout the walls of the cave. We have only visited during the summer time, but some day we will be back to explore during a snowy winter.
