Sheridan Memorial Park Honors Minnesota Veterans

On the land of the Historic Grain Belt Brewery is where Sheridan Memorial Park resides.

In 2013, a local artist created the large sphere of shields in honor of our Minnesota veterans.

It’s grand opening to the public was in 2014. The City of Minneapolis continues efforts to improve the pathways along the East bank to allow visitors to enjoy the area to it’s fullest.

This magical structure lights up at night time to reflect beautifully off the Mississippi River.

While your at it, take a walk to check out Nicollet Island and Boom Island.
