Reef (formerly known as Shorebird) is in Outrigger Reef hotel. Delicious two for one mai tais and filling appetizers. If you arrive for happy hour you will beat the rush and enjoy second story views of the ocean.
Duke’s in Outrigger Waikiki beach had an extensive breakfast buffet and also has great fish and chips for happy hour.
Beachwalk Café is a quick breakfast. Acai and granola bowls that are satisfying without the heavy breakfast feel. Perfect for before a hike.
Hula Grill Waikiki is a beachside restaurant with many happy hour specials.
Giovanni’s Shrimp truck has the best peel to eat shrimp on the island. Especially if you like hot and spicy.
Breakers restaurant and bar is on the North Shore. Breakers Garlic shrimp which also came with two sides and the shrimp was already peeled. This was my favorite meal on the island.
Kona Brewing Company has views of the marina with a wide variety of food options.
Doraku has fresh sushi in the Royal Hawaian center.
Shaved ice on the North shore.
Dole Plantation pineapple ice cream was a sweet treat.
Pau Hana Market Waikiki has many food trucks to choose from with a place to sit. We enjoyed the Five star shrimp.
Volcano shakes has varieties of massive sundaes.
